Sometimes I feel like
I'm waiting for
Something
Someone
And I'm not quite sure
If it's someone else
Or if it's me.
But I wait
In constant motion
Like the good impatient
Girl I am
The silence never settles
And I crawl under the covers
I am singing in my head
Until I fall asleep
And wake up
To a different song.
